The issue contains two stories. "The Aztec Crown of Indian Charlie" follows Wyatt Earp as he is welcomed by an Aztec leader and becomes entangled in a scheme involving a sacred crown, encountering traps and tribal conflicts while attempting to retrieve the artifact. "The Wrath of Tzlactomyl" (Part III) depicts Earp's confrontation with Aztec warriors and a vengeful woman named the Aztec Mother, involving combat in mountainous terrain and a pursuit that ends with gunfire. The second story continues Earp's adventures against a mysterious gunslinger named French, who receives a letter requiring fast gunwork and becomes increasingly nervous, ultimately leading to a tense shootout where Earp outdraws his opponent.
