This anthology issue contains multiple supernatural horror tales. "The Puppets That Became Men" tells of remarkable puppeteers Ezra and Lita Krutch whose puppets were so lifelike that one danced uncontrollably at the end of a performance until he died like a puppet on a string. "The Forest of Skeletons" depicts American colonists pursued through a forest by skeletal soldiers during the Revolutionary War, with dialogue revealing military and ranger company formations among the undead pursuers. "Revenge by the Full Moon!" features a woman named Valerie who carries her expensive paintings home, only to have them inspire supernatural revenge as she broods over her mistreatment by George, the art gallery director, and his couple.
