This is an anthology issue featuring three supernatural horror stories. "Devil-Music" tells of an ambitious singer named Helen Crane who seeks success and unwittingly makes a deal with dark forces through a mysterious dressing room sealed by the famous Mme. Santoro, only to face dire consequences for her ambition. "This Ship is Doomed" follows the crew and captain's daughter aboard the steamship Indies Queen, where a sinister supernatural curse dooms all aboard after the captain's daughter joins the voyage, fulfilling a grim maritime tradition. "Vengeance of the Ouanga" features a New York newspaper reporter named Bob Grant who visits Ghost Island in the French West Indies and encounters a vengeful supernatural force, represented as a skeletal hand with a killer's charm that claims victims and refuses to release its fourth victim.
