Sara has a final showdown with the demonic Perkins who seems to know an awful lot about the Witchblade. When the demon relinquishes control of the human side of Perkins, he begs Sara to kill him and, realizing that one of her Witchblade roles is as an angel of mercy, she complies with his wishes.
