Winnie Winkle #4

Winnie Winkle's husband Bob is cast in a traveling theatrical show, and Winnie must accompany him on tour despite her reluctance. When Bob goes missing during their travels, Winnie discovers through a newspaper account that a bank robbery has occurred in a neighboring town, and she becomes concerned that Bob may have been involved or mistaken for the robber. Winnie and Bill search for Bob at a railroad station, where they discover he has abandoned her with no money and no clear destination, forcing Winnie to pursue him across the countryside to determine his whereabouts and resolve the mystery of his disappearance.
