The lead story, "Port of Missing Pilots," involves Captain Wings investigating a situation at an airfield where pilots are disappearing and planes are crashing. A separate story featuring the character Suicide Smith shows him orchestrating a scheme at an airfield to make it appear planes have crashed, trapping saboteurs and avenging his brothers. The issue also includes stories with other recurring characters such as Ghost Squadron, Jane Martin, and Phantom Falcon.
When a young woman crashes a stolen plane at Captain Wings' China base, she reveals a desperate ransom scheme to buy back her brother—but the jungle kingdom where the exchange is supposed to happen has other plans. Captain Wings must navigate treacherous mountain terrain, a delusional pilot-turned-king, and a sinister sacrifice to rescue the girl and uncover the truth behind the kidnapping. A tale of greed, madness, and aerial adventure in the remote reaches of Lolo country.
