An encounter with Captain Wings and his patrol forces the plane down in a mountainous crash, where Pace experiences a vision of his fallen comrade Jake urging him to fight for something greater than money. Recovered by American forces, Pace resolves to rejoin the fight as a pilot for the Flying Tigers, finally understanding what's truly at stake in the war.
