WildC.A.T.s Adventures #4
In "The Evil Within," the WildC.A.T.S face a crisis when Voodoo, shaken by Zealot's criticism, abandons the team and is swiftly captured and possessed by a Daemonite. With the president taken and the team blind to the hidden threat, they must rely on Voodoo’s return to turn the tide. Written by Len Uhley and Jeff Mariotte, with dynamic art by Joe Phillips and inks by John Lowe, this 1994 issue delivers a tense, character-driven story where inner doubt becomes the enemy — and redemption comes from within.

When Voodoo botches a mission, Zealot is harsh enough with her that she decides she is useless and leaves the team. Overcome with despair, she quickly falls into a Daemonite trap and is possessed. When the WildC.A.T.S are called on to protect the president from Daemonites, they find they cannot locate them in the crowd without Voodoo's help. The President falls to the Daemonites and begins to do Helspont's bidding. Maul tracks down Voodoo and helps her shake off the Daemonite parasite. She then is able to help the WildC.A.T.S save the president.
