This graphic novel collects the 1991 Marvel adaptation of George R.R. Martin's shared-world superhero series, presenting the original mosaic novel's narrative in comic form. The story follows the aftermath of an alien virus that grants superpowers to a small percentage of humanity, known as Aces, while disfiguring others, called Jokers, in a gritty alternate history setting.
