Wild Bill Hickok rides into Indian Territory to confront a conflict between Apache warriors led by Chief Cochin and the U.S. Army under General Dixon, who are fighting over tribal lands and control of a vital mountain pass. When Cochin's forces ambush an American surveying party and set fire to the brush to drive out settlers, Hickok discovers a Russian prince secretly manipulating events from a wagon train, orchestrating the conflict to cause chaos. Hickok must stop the prince's treacherous scheme before the Apache and American forces destroy each other, ultimately pursuing the villainous prince across the frontier.
