“Orchids To You”

In "Orchids To You," Wilbur finds himself in a sticky situation when he accidentally dons Mr. Moore’s suit to avoid a confrontation—only to trade it for a magician’s trick suit at the tailor’s, setting off a chain of comically awkward mishaps. With Bill Vigoda’s expressive art bringing the early 1940s charm to life, this 1946 Wilbur Comics #11 is a delightful, lighthearted tale of mistaken identities and wardrobe chaos.

After Linda and Wilbur break the ice at Duck Pond, they go to Linda's house to warm up. When Mr. Moore comes home, Wilbur hides from him upstairs. Being in his underwear, Wilbur puts on Mr. Moore's suit and leaves the house. Mr. Wilkin has Wilbur take the suit to the tailor and when Wilbur picks it up, he takes Marvo The Magician's trick suit instead.
