"The Camp Cutie" features Wilbur on a river excursion where he encounters romantic complications involving a girl named Linda. In "A Wilbur Short," Wilbur procrastinates on his homework assignment, breaking a string on his violin in the process, which leads to a series of mishaps including falling from a chair and waking up in an exotic locale before being kissed by a woman. A third story depicts Wilbur entering a hurdle race where he competes against other runners, losing a shoe during the competition and struggling to keep up with his rivals.
