The Kid wanders into a town run by Gabe which is entirely corrupt and cheats him out his money. The Kid bands together the town's other honest men to combat Gabe. Gabe dresses his men as government soldiers to dissuade the uprising but the Kid recognizes the men in uniform and fights back, killing Gabe and his top henchmen. The governor thanks the Kid for his service.
