This anthology issue features multiple western stories. "Brink of Disaster" follows R.C. and Quickie as they are caught in a rockslide in the mountains; Quickie uses his quick thinking and a rope to help them escape, ultimately saving both their lives with the aid of Royal Crown Cola. The second story depicted involves Tom Mix confronting a peaceful man who objects to violence, but is forced to draw his gun in self-defense near Eagle Rock; Tom then discovers that gold he finds has been poisoned, leading him to pursue the culprit Deakes, who has contaminated a water hole. Tom sets a trap using dynamite to trigger a landslide that will bury both Deakes and the poisoned water, successfully eliminating the threat.
