# Western Hero #112 Monte Hale encounters a severe dust storm while traveling with settlers attempting to reach the nearest town. When the storm subsides, the group discovers they are surrounded by Native Americans, and one of the settlers suggests they may be under attack by "evil palefaces." After the settlers escape the immediate threat, Monte discovers a wrecked stagecoach and deduces that the driver was shot; he then uncovers a map marked "Lost Gold Mine," revealing the true motive behind the stagecoach's hijacking.
