Kid Colt finds Flashing Sky amidst the wreckage of burned out wagons. Flashing Sky reveals Shrieking Eagle is leading his people against white men and he was trying to stop them. As they ride to Flashing Sky's village, Flashing Sky saves Colt from a bounty hunter. In the village, Colt challenges Shrieking Eagle's leadership in a contest but Shrieking Eagle drugs Colt's drink before the match. However, Colt is immune to the poison and defeats Shrieking Eagle. Flashing Sky becomes the new chief.
