Western Fighters #5

"Western Fighters" #5 is an anthology containing at least two stories. One story follows Joe, a destitute man found starving at a sheriff's house, who reveals that a criminal named Randy sold him a worthless mine and stole his life savings; when Joe recovers, he attempts to kill Randy but is stopped by the sheriff. Another story features Bud Calkins, who becomes a wanderer and eventually takes work as a Pony Express rider to Elk Junction, only to be pursued by bandits—he must prove himself capable and unafraid to survive the dangerous journey ahead.
