The Cross-Draw Kid battles the outlaw El Tigre, who has been terrorizing the territory with his gang of banditos. After the Kid defeats El Tigre's forces in a gunfight, the villain Ricardo captures the Kid's companion and threatens her life, forcing a final confrontation. Sheriff Sal also faces off against the bandit Rawhide Peters and his gang at the Red Dog stage depot, where he manages to overcome the outlaws and recover the stolen payroll with the help of his companions, ultimately proving himself the best sheriff in the territory.
