West Coast Avengers #10

History

The fourth volume of West Coast Avengers was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 and launched November 27, 2024, written by Gerry Duggan with art by Danny Kim — a pairing that spun directly out of Duggan's preceding Invincible Iron Man run, in which Tony Stark and James Rhodes had already decided to relocate to California and relaunch the West Coast team. The series was edited by Alanna Smith under editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski, with lettering by VC Joe Caramagna and cover art for issue #10 by Josemaria Casanovas. Duggan described the Ultron-redemption premise as one of his 'biggest Marvel swings yet,' consciously differentiating it from his earlier Ultron/Hank Pym horror story in Uncanny Avengers; the series was billed as launching just in time for the West Coast Avengers franchise's 40th anniversary.
