Nick's C.O. thinks he has turned traitor after two British planes have been shot down by a Gladiator when Nick has been in the area. As three Hurricanes escort Nick's Gladiator back to base after the second incident they are jumped by Zeros and shot down. Nick escapes but is afraid to return to his airfield in case he is accused of treachery.
