Warfront #27

Warfront #27 is an anthology of military combat stories. "Operation Diamond" follows American servicemen in a Pacific amphibious assault on an enemy island, where soldiers face intense Japanese artillery and gunfire as they attempt to land and secure the beachhead despite heavy casualties. A subsequent story depicts military pilots in aerial combat, with one pilot named Norman successfully flagging in on a carrier after a dangerous mission where fellow pilots were killed by enemy fire.
