"Comrades for a Lone Wolf" follows Barney Gordon, a former slum kid turned soldier, as he struggles to work alongside his unit despite his distrust of authority and instinct for self-reliance. When his gun goes missing during the night, Barney suspects it was deliberately taken and initially blames a fellow soldier named Dallas, creating tension within the group. As the soldiers investigate and prepare for a suspected enemy ambush in the woods, Barney must overcome his solitary nature and learn to trust his comrades to survive the impending combat situation.
