War Heroes #21

War Heroes #21 is an anthology containing at least two stories. "Relieved of Command!" depicts a soldier in Bee Company during combat who becomes so frightened that he loses control of his bowels, later learning that the captain he served under did not believe in wasting ammunition on bombing runs. "The Decoy," set in January 1942 during the Japanese Navy's advance around Luzon and Leyte in the Philippines, follows Lt. George Heyer and the crew of Jim Taliaferro's PT boat as they engage in naval combat, with Heyer ultimately court-martialed for cowardice after passing out from his wounds, though he is later revealed to be genuinely courageous.
