War Comics Double Number #1

This anthology collection contains multiple war-themed stories. The first story follows soldiers caught in harsh weather conditions, with one soldier taking off his coat as the enemy emerges and fighting breaking out before the soldiers establish positions and eventually capture enemy officers. A second story titled "Slam the Stitcher" features comedic military hijinks involving a Colonel Wanup and soldiers caught in various absurd situations at camp, including attempts to hide dispatches and capture a spy. The final visible story, "Lile Alfie," depicts a rotund character's misadventures with domestic labor, including attempts at gardening and laundry work that go comically awry.
