This anthology issue contains six war stories. "Blood, Sun and Sand" follows Captain Geoffrey Wells and Corporal Bucky Bill as they lead British troops in the Libyan desert to halt an uprising by Arab tribes under German command, with the soldiers ultimately succeeding in their mission. Another story depicts an aerial adventure in which pilots engage Japanese forces, with one plane crippled and crashing, but the pilot rescued by a woman in Panama who provides shelter and information to the Allies, though she faces suspicion about whether Panamanian planes bombed Allied cities. The remaining stories—"Black Wings," "Peace Raider," "Sky Hawk," "Happy Chandler," and "Tripod Trio"—are represented on the cover and contents page but cannot be fully detailed from the visible sample pages.
