Walter Lantz Woody Woodpecker #82
In "The Great Riverboat Race," Woody Woodpecker finds himself in over his head when his elaborate lie about being a high-ranking lab technician at a rocket test facility is put to the test—literally—during a school field trip. With Knothead and Splinter counting on his expertise, Woody must improvise his way through a series of increasingly absurd situations to maintain his cover. Art by John Carey and a vibrant cover by Phil De Lara bring the chaotic hijinks to life in this 1964 Western Publishing classic.
