In "The Big Shrink," Woody Woodpecker and his friends Knothead, Splinter, and Wally Walrus set sail on an adventure to shed a few pounds—only to end up shipwrecked on a mysterious island. There, they meet the eccentric inventor Professor Popper, whose shrinking ray accidentally turns them all into tiny creatures, forcing them to outwit his prowling cat to find a way back to normal size.
