With luck on his side, Gladstone Gander stumbles into the exotic land of Jumbostan, where he encounters a herd of speckled elephants—though their spots are just paint—before finally tracking down the rare, genuine creature in the jungle. Meanwhile, Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie join the hunt, turning the quest into a chaotic race across the Indian wilderness.

Uncle Scrooge, stranded on a raft in the middle of the ocean, takes a clever turn to catch a rescue: he hides inside a makeshift money bag crafted from his sail, hoping the sight of it will lure passing ships or planes to his aid.
