Walt Disney Uncle Scrooge #114
In "The Phantom of Notre Duck," Scrooge McDuck puts his new vault to the test with a whimsical secret: it opens only when he plays "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" on a fife. Taking the fife to the Cathedral of Notre Duck, he lowers it into the wishing fountain—only to find it stolen, its tune now echoing from a mysterious black-clad figure. As Scrooge and his nephews chase the phantom through the cathedral’s shadowed halls, they’re cornered in a trap that leaves them stranded. Written, drawn, and inked by Carl Barks, this 1974 adventure blends mystery and humor in a tale that’s as clever as it is classic. The cover, also by Barks, captures the eerie grandeur of the cathedral and the thief’s elusive presence.

Scrooge has a new vault, which opens only when he plays "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" on a fife. He takes the fife to the Cathedral of Notre Duck, to lower it on a string into the water of the Cathedral's wishing fountain—but when he pulls the string up, the fife is gone, and the thief is playing "My Bonnie." The ducks pursue the black-clad thief through the cathedral until they are all trapped.
