Walt Disney's Wart and the Wizard #[1]
"In the Days of the Knights" sees Wart on a quest to prove his worth as a knight by capturing a dragon—only to return with a meek, self-doubting Daddy Dragon who’s mocked by the townsfolk. As Wart’s bravado turns to guilt, he unwittingly pushes the gentle beast to rise, setting off a moment that changes everything. Written by Vic Lockman and brought to life with expressive art by Tony Strobl (pencils), John Liggera (inks), and the Western Publishing Production Shop (color), this 1964 Western Comics gem features a cover by Strobl and Liggera.
