Walt Disney's Giant Comics #643
In "The Cattle King," Carl Barks delivers a classic adventure as Scrooge McDuck takes Donald and the nephews to his ranch during roundup season, turning a lesson in the cattle business into a high-stakes showdown with Snake McViper’s rustlers. With Scrooge’s cowboys on the run, the ducks must step in—only to face off against clever outlaws until two of the nephews pull off a daring ruse, disguising themselves as a girl to outwit McViper’s men with a meal even the toughest outlaw couldn’t stomach. The story is illustrated and inked by Carl Barks, with lettering by Garé Barks, and the cover, also by Carl Barks, captures the wild west spirit of the tale.
