Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #8 (116)
In "Car Accident and Skywriting," Li'l Wolf’s father bans all pets except one—specifically, an elephant. When Dumbo the Flying Elephant accidentally becomes part of a wild chase involving a car and a skywriting plane, the chaos leads to a surprising moment of clarity. Gil Turner writes and draws this charming 1950 tale, while Walt Kelly’s cover captures the zany energy of the story with his signature flair.
