Wally has not heard from his parents in a long time. His friend Vikk, who was washed up on shore after he fell off his father's ship, still waits for his father to come back, and treasures the only thing his father gave him, a gold chain in the shape of Thor's hammer. When Wally hears that his parents have been captured by Vikings, he and Vikk set off to find them, but they soon quarrel and split up. Wally's quest to find his parents includes a return encounter with Vastar and Erasmo, and a brush with a deadly Moorlok.
