About this Collection

This collection presents the first six issues of Tom King and Gabriel Hernandez Walta's acclaimed 2016 Vision series, a dark and introspective take on the android Avenger. It follows the Vision as he attempts to build a normal family life in suburban Virginia with a wife and children of his own creation, only to find that their artificial humanity leads to tragic and unsettling consequences. The story is a standalone, character-driven exploration of identity, emotion, and the cost of trying to be something you're not.

In Vision #1, Tom King and Gabriel Hernández Walta launch a haunting, character-driven story as Vision struggles to protect his family from a threat he can’t fully grasp. When Virginia claims the Grim Reaper attacked their home and fled, Vision must navigate the fragile line between justice and fear—intervening at school to shield their son Vin, while a chilling video threatens to unravel everything. Mike Del Mundo’s cover captures the eerie tension of a father trying to hold his family together in a world where the past is never truly buried.
