Bøffelens menn overgir seg til oberst Brown da Miki truer med å sprenge ammunisjonslageret deres i luften. Miki blir utnevnt til løytnant og sendt ut på oppdrag sammen med Windy for å finne ut hvorfor comanchene er i krig med apachene. En gjenganger står i spissen for comanchene. På veien møter de comancher med en kvinnelig fange. Hun hopper i elven og blir reddet av Miki.
