When a threatening letter arrives for Fru Brent, warning her to leave her homestead or face the same fate as her late aunt, she takes refuge with Kaptein Miki. Under the cover of night, three masked men with torches descend on the ranch, setting the stage for a tense confrontation between loyalty, fear, and the long shadow of the Tarleton family’s past.

Kaptein Miki tracks the infamous outlaw Den forferdelige Budd through the dusty frontier, while a reluctant Salasso is dragged along on a grim errand: extracting a bullet from the bandaged leader of a band of outlaws in a forgotten cabin. With Windy’s sharp eyes watching from the shadows and the tension thick as the desert heat, old wounds and new dangers begin to surface.

When Kaptein Miki tracks down Salasso and frees him from captivity, the escaped bandits vanish—only to reappear in town with a deadly plan: to kill the local shopkeeper. Miki intervenes just in time, but the shocking truth unfolds when he realizes the shopkeeper is none other than the infamous Budd, a man thought long gone.

In "Farvel Budd," Kaptein Miki and the fugitive Budd find themselves cornered by three outlaws—Salasso, Sam, and the notorious Banditt—during a tense showdown on the frontier. With Windy and Oscar (guttunge) caught in the crossfire, the odds seem stacked against them, but justice rides with the lawman and the man they’re hunting. As the dust settles, one path ends and another begins, leaving the fates of Miki, Budd, and the others hanging in the balance.

When a pair of outlaws, Stubby and Meksikaner, try to steal a package from Kaptein Miki after his trip to the diligensen, they unwittingly set off a chain of events tied to a mysterious key and a letter revealing that Susan Brown has inherited a castle on an island in the Mexican Gulf. With Windy watching from the shadows and Oberst Brown’s presence looming, the quiet frontier town of Cactus Creek suddenly feels full of secrets—and danger.
