In the dusty frontier town of Vill Vest, Kaptein Miki and Salasso uncover a chilling secret when the mysterious Maskefjes appears as the judge, Dommer Emerson, presiding over the trial of Tobias Craig. With Will Sepley’s body missing and the town’s truth buried beneath lies, Miki and Salasso dig up a coffin only to find it filled with stone—leaving them to wonder what really happened to Sepley and why Windy never returned.

In the dusty frontier town of Vill Vest, Kaptein Miki follows a trail of deception when the man he believes dead—Will Sepley—turns up alive, and Windy arrives with the real Dommer Emerson. As Tobias Craig is freed moments before execution, Miki races to uncover the truth, tracking the impostor Sjeriff Allan (Maskefjes) to a remote cabin, where he discovers the real Sjeriff Allan imprisoned in the cellar.

When Captain Miki and Sheriff Allen (the real one) capture the entire Maskefjes gang and lock them up in town, the tension simmers beneath the surface. But under cover of night, Maskefjes slips free—disguised as Salasso—and vanishes into the frontier shadows.

When Maskefjes sends a threatening letter and a poisoned crate from Silver Spring, Kaptein Miki and Windy are drawn into a deadly trap set at an abandoned Indian camp. With the town’s sheriff and a mysterious figure named Murphy watching from the shadows, the hunt for the truth leads to a tense confrontation where loyalty and deception blur.

When Maskefjes, disguised as Murphy, leads Kaptein Miki and Windy to an apasje camp and captures them, Salasso—aware that Murphy is really Maskefjes—hurries to intervene. With the wounded Store Ørn in peril, Salasso takes it upon himself to save the chieftain before the situation spirals beyond control.
