In the dusty shadow of the frontier, Maskefjes—posing as the outlaw George H. Warden—flees with his daughter Filly Warden as a hostage, leaving a trail of violence in his wake. When he kills an Indian and abandons Filly, the vengeful Store Høvding prepares to execute her as retribution—only for Kaptein Miki to arrive and take her place.

In the smoldering aftermath of a raid, Kaptein Miki and his allies track the elusive Maskefjes—known to some as George H. Warden—through the dusty streets of Denver. With Filly Warden and the enigmatic Windy at his side, they close in on the fugitive, only to find him cornered in a burning stable. As flames rise, Maskefjes vanishes into the shadows, leaving behind only smoke and a trail of secrets.

When Windy and Salasso stumble upon one of Maskefjes’s hidden whiskey caches, a tense standoff brews just as Kaptein Miki fights Manuel in a desperate gun duel. With Maskefjes and Snake suddenly appearing, the fragile peace shatters—just as Ramon, the newest revolvermann, finds himself drawn into the storm.

When a ranger is shot during a pursuit of Maskefjes, his sudden return to the outpost as if nothing happened sets off unease among the men. As tensions rise and the frontier grows colder, the line between friend and foe blurs—especially when Maskefjes himself seems to be watching from the shadows.
