Venomverse #1 launches Marvel's 2017 symbiote-spanning event in bold, visceral fashion, with a cover by Nick Bradshaw and colors by Edgar Delgado that practically bursts off the page. Against a blazing red background, a massive, snarling Venom dominates the center while an array of symbiote-bonded variants — including recognizable takes on Wolverine, Captain America, Ghost Rider, and what appears to be a top-hat-wearing gunslinger — swarm around him in a frenzy of claws, tendrils, and teeth.
