Venom #22
Marking its 24th year of Venom's existence, this 2012 chapter of Rick Remender's run finds the symbiote-clad agent plunging through a rain-soaked urban alleyway on Tony Moore's kinetic cover — heavily armed, a glowing weapon trained forward, with white doves scattering around him in the fiery dusk light. The title "Father's Day" hints at something personal simmering beneath all that firepower, making this one of the more intriguing installments of Declan Shalvey and Lee Loughridge's visually charged run on the series.
