Variety Comics #2

Variety Comics #2 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Gabby Grayson, Radio Reporter" follows the title character as a gang attempts to erase her by shooting her, but one extra gunman inadvertently saves her life by firing at the gangsters instead; later, Gabby meets with Mr. Donaldson, who mentions an old man with an Irish accent, leading to a planned jail break. A jungle adventure story depicts a young boy encountering a bearded man in the wild who reveals himself as the boy's father and warns of the "white tiger of Kona," a feared creature of the lost city of Gala, before a hairy ape-like creature suddenly appears.
