Vanity Benz #2

Published in 1995 by Dargaud Benelux, this second chapter of Vanity Benz continues the collaboration between writer Didier van Cauwelaert and artist Franck Bonnet, with colors by Alain Sirvent. The story carries the evocative Dutch title "Het kind dat de Aarde bestierde" — "The Child Who Ruled the Earth" — hinting at a tale with grand, imaginative stakes. With Bonnet handling both pencils and inks on the cover, this Belgian edition is a fine example of the distinctive European bande dessinée tradition of the mid-1990s.
