The curtain comes down on Vamps: Hollywood & Vein with this stylish 1996 finale from DC/Vertigo, written by Elaine Lee with art by William Simpson. Phil Winslade's cover sets the tone perfectly — a confident pack of glamorous women stride out from a movie-house marquee, their male companions lingering uncertainly in the background, the whole scene drenched in that seedy-chic Hollywood atmosphere the series does so well. If "Two Thumbs Up!" is the story's title, Winslade's cover art certainly earns the rating.
