Written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Gary Frank, with inks by Cam Smith and colors by Haberlin Studios, this issue unfolds with chilling precision, weaving a modern retelling steeped in gothic dread. The cover by John Bolton captures the story’s ominous tone, hinting at a tale where names carry ancient weight and the past refuses to stay buried.

Jack helps arrange emigration of Mr. Dragunsun (who he has never seen) from the war-torn Balkans to America. After he is attacked by women of Mr. Dragunsun's 'family', trying to bite him, Jack is forced to kill them. Too late, Jack finally recognizes the similarities of the names to those in the original Dracula story: Jack (Jonathan Harker), Mia (Mina Harker), and Lucy. He tries to warn his wife, but is too late. When he returns to America, he discovers that Mr. Dragunsun is really Dracula.
