Vampirella #18

Vampirella crouches atop a field of skulls and bones in this striking 2012 Dynamite issue, her signature red costume and gold armband setting her apart from the eerie, dust-choked battlefield behind her. A large bat looms overhead while ghostly figures swirl in the background, reinforcing the sense that she commands an atmosphere of dark, supernatural power. With interior work by José Malaga and Eric Trautmann and this commanding cover by Paul Renaud, issue #18 is a compelling entry in the series.
