Vampirella #16

Dynamite's Vampirella #16 (2012) delivers a striking cover by Paul Renaud that sets an unmistakably ominous tone: a bloodied Vampirella crouches among cemetery crosses, her signature red costume spattered crimson, while looming behind her is a massive, snarling werewolf figure mid-transformation. The tension between the vulnerable pose and the monstrous threat overhead makes for a genuinely arresting image. Inside, writer Eric Trautmann and artist Patrick Berkenkotter continue their run on the series, with colors by Stefani Renee and letters by Marshall Dillon rounding out the creative team.
