Valentine #4 November 1967
In "Theme for a New Love," Pru finds herself caught between admiration and confusion when a heartfelt thank-you letter from her idol, actor Lex Harmon, sparks a brief but intense connection—only to be upended when she discovers the man she’s been falling for is a lookalike stand-in. Drawn together by chance and a shared London moment, their daily meetings take on a quiet intensity, leaving Pru questioning what’s real. The story unfolds with subtle emotional depth, illustrated with precision by Jorge Badía Romero, whose expressive lines capture the quiet tension of a romance built on mistaken identity.

For knitting him a sweater for his last birthday, Pru receives a type-written "thank you" letter from acting star Lex Harmon. The letter had said he would be happy to see her if she was ever in his part of the world. However, when that chance comes and she introduces herself, he seems to blow her off. Talking to herself in disappointment, he seems to reappear beside her and take a personal interest in her. They start seeing each other every day, but on her last day in London, Pru learns the person she has been dating is the lookalike stand-in for her idol.
