By accident, Sue and John had been snapped by a newspaper cameraman and won £500 in a Happy Couples Competition. Sue's boyfriend, Tom, had no objection to her kissing John so long as she gets the money. Sue feels he cares more about the money than he does her and walks out on him. She ends up at the restaurant she had gone to with John and finds him there. When John finds out Sue has left Tom, he is delighted and asks to be her new boyfriend. They decide that the newspaper can keep the prize money they had won.
