When Trina's aunt leaves her a cottage, it gives her a chance to retire from the noise of the world. But she finds it harder to avoid people than she thought when she learns that her cottage is two fields away from a caravan site. To keep people out, she gets the odd-job man to post a sign, then build a fence and finally, a wall. But when her cottage catches on fire, the caravanners fight to save the cottage despite the way she had treated them.
