“Moment of Doubt”

In "Moment of Doubt," Cindy—a no-nonsense secretary at a football club—finds her half day off hijacked by the arrival of new player Gerry Kane, whom she openly dismisses as a waste of money and a fan of a sport she has no interest in. Her skepticism is tested when she attends Gerry’s first game that Saturday, only to be unsettled by the sudden appearance of Victoria, a striking woman who delivers a cryptic warning to keep her hands off Gerry. The moment lingers long after the match ends, leaving Cindy questioning her own motives in a story drawn with quiet intensity by Jorge Badía Romero.

Cindy is secretary to the manager of a football club and loses her half day off to pick up the club's new soccer player, Gerry Kane. Cindy makes it clear to Gerry that she thinks he is a waste of money and she doesn't like soccer. That Saturday, Cindy attends Gerry's first game and, in her office, finds attractive Victoria. The woman asks Cindy to pass on a message to Gerry and tells Cindy to keep her hands off Gerry. While Cindy bluntly says she's not interested, she wonders why she came to the game.
