Valentine #25 April 1970
In "Moment of Doubt," Cindy—a no-nonsense secretary at a football club—finds her half day off hijacked by the arrival of new player Gerry Kane, whom she openly dismisses as a waste of money and a fan of a sport she has no interest in. Her skepticism is tested when she attends Gerry’s first game that Saturday, only to be unsettled by the sudden appearance of Victoria, a striking woman who delivers a cryptic warning to keep her hands off Gerry. The moment lingers long after the match ends, leaving Cindy questioning her own motives in a story drawn with quiet intensity by Jorge Badía Romero.
